Head of Systems Development - West Yorkshire
A brand new, exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Development Manager to join a dynamic and expanding company based in West Yorkshire. Working in a customer services environment, the role will involve liaising with business*IS teams and operational heads of department to ensure full understanding of business requirements and implementation of fit for purpose technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong development background and recent hands on programming experience within the .Net framework. You will also be a strong man manager and have solid experience of managing a team. You must have advanced project management and supplier management experience and excellent relationship management and consultative presentation skills.
Experience of working within a large and complex environment, integrating off the shelf systems with in-house*other 3rd Party systems is also essential. You will be responsible for managing the development of in-house applications and interfaces. Applicants must work proficiently with .Net, Relational Databases (SQL 2000), UML and PRINCE2 or other methodologies. Knowledge of Web Technologies and MS SharePoint would also be advantageous.
